Selenium is an open source suite of tools designed specifically for scripting your web browser automation.
The workhorse of our open-source driven testing, Ruby is a programming language that Cucumber, Selenium, Watir, and many other testing tools integrate with.
Appium powers test automation on native, mobile web, and hybrid applications across iOS and Android platforms. By wrapping frameworks in Selenium's WebDriver API, tests written in any language can execute on your mobile app.
Galen is an Open Source framework designed specifically for automating responsive testing. The Galen framework allows you to define various design & layout rules across different breakpoints for a given view, and run scripts that can validate these rules simultaneously across multiple windows.
Watir stands for Web Application Testing in Ruby. Watir is an open-source family of Ruby libraries built for automating web browser interactions, providing a flexible and simple way to write tests that are easily maintained.
Calabash is an Open Source library that helps you write and execute automated acceptance tests of mobile applications. It's cross-platform and supports both, native & hybrid, iOS and Android Applications.
Cucumber provides a plain text wrap around for Ruby, allowing you to create a library of plain text step definitions with corresponding Ruby code. These step definitions can be written in a feature file, creating a set of steps that make up a complete test case.
Jira is the popular tracking product developed by Atlassian. Jira provides bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management functions. The Awetest-Jira Integration allows users to Manage & Execute your automated tests in Awetest and directly log defects and map to user stories in Jira.
